Kim Jackson is an eCommerce and merchandising leader with more than 30 years of experience building and scaling consumer businesses across digital, stores, and wholesale environments. Her career in retail began early—selling soft pretzels on the streets of Philadelphia at age ten—and has since evolved into leading intrapreneurial and transformational work inside complex organizations.
Throughout her career, Kim has been consistently trusted to build what doesn’t yet exist. She has led multiple intrapreneurial initiatives within established brands, including launching a high-fashion apparel concept inside Harley-Davidson that operated outside the company’s legacy systems. This work required creating new processes, shaping product and customer strategy without existing infrastructure, and guiding teams through ambiguity while establishing new ways of working.
Kim’s experience spans founder-led companies and global brands, including leadership roles at Harley-Davidson, PUMA, Talbots, ALEX AND ANI, Clarks, and May Company. Across these environments, she is known for creating clarity in complexity, standing up new concepts, and helping organizations evolve how they think about product, customer engagement, and long-term growth.
Her leadership style is people-first. Kim holds a Master’s degree in Organizational Leadership and is a certified Strengths Profile coach, with a passion for developing teams and creating organizational cultures where trust, collaboration, and self-awareness drive stronger outcomes. She is known as a clear communicator, connector, and energizing presence in fast-moving environments.
At Babson, Kim brings real-world experience into the classroom, helping students connect theory to practice through honest conversation, applied examples, and reflection. She has spent more than two decades teaching, public speaking, guest lecturing, and mentoring students across higher education. Her teaching interests sit at the intersection of leadership, intrapreneurship, and organizational behavior—supporting students as they learn to navigate complexity, build confidence, and lead with intention.
