Unlock Youth Potential through Entrepreneurship Education

Entrepreneurship Program for Innovators and Changemakers (EPIC) is a youth entrepreneurship program that uses a proven method of teaching entrepreneurial thinking to youth to unlock their potential, increase their creative thinking skills, confidence, and resilience.

The program helps students understand what it means to be an entrepreneur, empowering them to make positive changes in their lives, communities, and the world.

Throughout the course, students discover that being an entrepreneurial leader requires more than learning how to develop a business or solution. In the first part of the course, they learn how to assess their abilities, passions, and strengths, and determine which ones they want to strengthen.

As they discover what inspires them, they will learn about the U.N. Global Goals, Babson’s methodology for learning to be an entrepreneur, Entrepreneurial Thought & Action®, and how these connect to problems and opportunities in their local community. Once they have identified problems/opportunities that they individually care about, they will begin to work with a team to select one problem/opportunity and then collaborate to identify solutions.

As a team, students will conduct field research to understand the problem, using a human-centered design approach. They will develop prototypes and customer personas for their solution, deliver a Rocket Pitch to share with others, and become immersed in the important details of testing the feasibility of their solution. Their final deliverable is a team presentation of their social impact project.
