“As someone who had the wonderful opportunity to grow up in Switzerland, my childhood was filled with beautiful memories of spending time outdoors with my friends and family. These experiences fostered a deep appreciation for nature, which I continue to cherish today. Because of this, I’ve made it a personal mission to help create a more equitable and sustainable world, one where all people can learn from and thrive within our planet’s incredible ecosystems.”

“I’ve always been passionate about how business can drive positive change for both people and the planet. Back home, I built a nonprofit focused on education, and now as a Sustainability Intern, I’m learning how to measure and communicate impact, using data for meaningful storytelling to identify grants that support Babson’s sustainability initiatives. Looking ahead, I’m interested in exploring how we can make technology more sustainable and inclusive.”

“Growing up in Indonesia, I often witnessed how severe flooding disrupted daily life, schools closing, roads becoming impassable, and families losing their homes. These experiences made climate change feel personal, not distant. They also showed me how environmental issues are deeply tied to people’s well-being and opportunities. That’s why SDG 13, Climate action, resonates with me. I’m passionate about reducing climate change’s impact through innovation and awareness.”

“Growing up in Montana, my connection to the outdoors shaped my appreciation for the natural world and sparked my commitment to sustainability. To me, sustainability means protecting the environment while creating systems that support long-term well-being—for both people and the planet. At Babson, I wanted to continue nurturing this passion while developing my professional skills. Serving as a Sustainability Intern allowed me to do just that. The experience strengthened my leadership abilities and deepened my understanding of how to advocate for and implement meaningful sustainability initiatives on campus. Being part of a small, dedicated cohort gave me a strong sense of community and pushed me to grow both personally and professionally.”
