Come and celebrate Black History month at Babson College with the 4th annual Lift Every Voice Open Mic night.As inspired by the words of Reverend Dr. Martin Luther King, this event seeks to highlight the multitude of voices and cultures that make up our vibrant community here at Babson, and provides a fun and respectful environment to share together in this celebration. The Cutler Center is excited to welcome back Michael Silk from Training the Street to campus for a full-day workshop where students will build a fully integrated three-statement model. Using various assumptions, participants will forecast the income statement, balance sheet, and cash flow statement. The teaching pedagogy of this workshop requires participants to build models of different levels of difficulty, starting with an extremely simple model and ending with a robust circular model. This teaching method ensures that building blocks and links between the forecast financial statements are fully understood. Join the Cutler Center as we welcome our friends from Loomis Sayles to discuss the Loomis Sayles Undergraduate Women's Investment Network (UWIN) program. The UWIN program provides mentorship and internship opportunities during the school year, where participants will gain professional development and technical skills needed to succeed in the investment management industry. The program targets students in their sophomore and junior years, but welcomes students in any undergraduate year. The program seeks students studying at colleges and universities in the United States with an interest in investing, business, finance, accounting, data science, mathematics or economics.Join us for an overview of the program featuring UWIN Founder and Credit Research Co-Director at Loomis Sayles, Shannon O'Mara.This session is open to all Babson undergraduate students. P2P Connect Sessions: 2025/2026 Facilitated by Butler Launch Pad Director Cindy Klein Marmer, P2P (Peer to Peer) Connect sessions are virtual facilitated feedback forums designed to help you make progress on your venture through virtual support. You will have the opportunity to get feedback on your business concept or help to overcome a current challenge you are facing while helping your peers do the same. You'll leave the session with a renewed focus on the actionable next steps you should take to continue making progress on your business. Find out more
