Eric Dosal

Mentor, Bertarelli Institute for Family Entrepreneurship

After graduating Magna Cum Laude and top finance student of his Babson Class, Eric spent a few years on Wall Street as an Investment Banker. He didn’t want to go straight back to the family business and his father wanted him to get experience outside the family business. 

In 2002, he joined the legacy family business. He started in sales until 2007 when he took over a small division that was to transform the family legacy business. He ultimately grew it, with his brother, and sold that business in 2012. 

During that time Eric and his brother started a SaaS business, BrightGauge, that they funded with their family’s money, and over 9 years grew it and ultimately sold it very successfully in 2018. 

The last 2 years Eric has been turning around and transitioning one of his family's remaining legacy businesses into a cybersecurity services company while at the same time starting another software company with his brother called Strety.
