Beth Goldstein

Bio

Author, educator, trainer, consultant, and coach, Beth has spent the last 30+ years helping entrepreneurs, executives, small business owners, educators and students around the globe launch and grow their organizations and careers. Through her work as founder of Marketing Edge Consulting Group, she shows business owners how to apply customer knowledge to create targeted sales and marketing programs that drive revenue while increasing profitability and customer loyalty. Beth is the author of three books on business growth, Entrepreneurial Marketing: A Blueprint for Customer Engagement (Sage Publications), The Ultimate Small Business Marketing Toolkit (McGraw-Hill) and Lucky By Design.

Beth is currently pursuing her Doctorate in Education from Johns Hopkins University with a focus on the role entrepreneurship educators playing in helping students develop entrepreneurial self-efficacy. She teaches entrepreneurship and marketing courses at Babson and is a business advisor in Babson's Summer Venture Program. Beth works with The Lewis Institute at Babson to develop entrepreneurship programs for the Youth Impact Lab. For Babson Global, Beth was on a 3-person MBA design team that created an innovative MBA program for the Mohammad Bin Salman College of Business and Entrepreneurship (MBSC), Saudi Arabia. She also led MBSC's design teams for the Masters in Entrepreneurial Leadership and their 4-year undergraduate marketing degree.

Prior to joining Babson, Beth taught marketing and consulting courses at Brandeis University and at the Boston University (BU) Questrom School of Business. She also ran BU's New Venture Competition for ten years and served as the Faculty Director for their top ranked Online Graduate Certificate in Entrepreneurship Program from 2005 to 2014.

Beth specializes in custom-designing classroom and online business growth training programs for companies as well as government agencies and organizations, ranging from publicly-funded groups like the MA Supplier Diversity Office to Fortune 500 companies like Carrier Corporation and Fidelity Investments. Her company runs business and marketing training programs for cannabis-entrepreneurs through the Social Equity Program launched by the Massachusetts Cannabis Control Commission. She has taught in the U.S. and abroad including: China, Costa Rica, Egypt, Germany, Indonesia, Kuwait, Lebanon, Mexico, Nigeria, Oman, Saudi Arabia, Thailand, and the United Kingdom.

Beth holds an MBA from Boston University and a BA in economics and sociology from Brandeis University. She anticipates receiving her doctorate in education from Johns Hopkins University in 2021.
