Undergraduate Laptop Program

Babson College currently provides its undergraduate students with a Lenovo business-class laptop for their personal and scholastic use, which comes pre-configured with all the software needed for your selected curriculum.

Commencing with the Class of 2027, students will no longer exchange their laptop model after two years of use, but instead will maintain their Babson-issued laptop throughout their studies. This laptop will be theirs to keep at no further cost upon their graduation.

This policy is subject to future change.

For the 2026-2027 year, the selected model is the ThinkPad T14s 2-in-1 (2nd generation) -- an ultraportable touchscreen convertible-laptop with pen. Its hardware specifications are as follows:

The Babson Network

With over 9000 network ports on campus and wireless access points in every building, you are rarely far from a network connection. Our wired network supports access speeds up to 1000 Mb/sec while our wireless network supports speeds up to 150 Mb/sec.
