Leslie Chiu

Associate Dean, Campus Life
Leslie Chiu has been at Babson since 2017, when she joined as the General Manager for BabsonARTS and the Sorenson Center for the Arts. In 2019 she was promoted to Director, BabsonARTS where she has provided leadership for the overall direction, planning and development of all BabsonARTS program, focusing on implementing programs for the benefit of the student and campus communities.
Before coming to Babson College Leslie was the Director of Production for Brandeis University’s Department of Theater Arts and the Production Stage Manager for the Off-Broadway show Blue Man Group (Boston). Her work in the theater and entertainment industry has included production management, stage management and producing for companies such as Commonwealth Shakespeare Company, Boston Early Music Festival and Virginia Opera. Leslie received her MFA in Stage Management from the University of Cincinnati, College-Conservatory of Music and her BFA In Theatrical Design/Technology from Florida State University.
In her role as Associate Dean, Campus Life, Leslie plays an essential leadership role in the development and management of a comprehensive student and campus experience that extends learning beyond the classroom, overseeing co-curricular experiences including student leadership programming and development; leadership for the Student Engagement and BabsonARTS portfolios; and thoughtful collaboration to create productive partnerships with other campus departments that influence student life.
