Phase 1 Completed: 2024
- A space for connecting to new learning experiences, opportunities, and each other.
- A living-learning community designed to amplify Babson’s global impact, thought leadership, and entrepreneurial action.
- A lab and model for entrepreneurial environments, fostering partnerships between industry and academia.
- Features new learning, residential, and meeting spaces, offering hybrid, tech-enabled experiences to engage both in-person and remote participants.
- Future home to the Foundations of Management and Entrepreneurship, a key first-year course that embodies the HELV’s environment.
Phase 1 Construction Highlights
- Three new modern classroom spaces with breakout spaces.
- Renovation of over 170 student dorm rooms.
- Collaborative and social areas, including a café and patio.
- A co-curricular lounge with an ADA accessible pod and breakout rooms.
- A large multi-purpose event/study/socialize Global Outreach Studio.
Village Coffee House
- Serving Bean & Bean Coffee Roasters, a mother & daughter owned company known for ethical sourcing, sustainability, and empowering women coffee producers.
- Offers a variety of coffee drinks, fresh focaccia sandwiches, salads, and house-baked treats made with locally sourced ingredients.
Residential Innovation Community (HELV-RIC)
- Largest residence hall on campus.
- Open to second-to-fourth-year students who want to live in Woodside Residence Hall.
- Opportunities include peer mentorship, professional development funds, and collaboration with other campus groups.
- A community for entrepreneurial leaders to connect, learn, and access resources.
