Alumni Email Account/Login Practice

Graduates will maintain their existing @babson.edu email address for 6 months following their graduation date.  At that time, the @babson.edu address will change to an @alum.babson.edu address.

• Email accounts for May graduates will convert in November
• Email accounts for August graduates will convert in February
• Email accounts for December graduates will convert in June

Graduating students are not required to request an account.

Mailbox contents will be maintained during the transition.  Any messages sent to the previous @babson.edu address will be delivered to the new @alum.babson.edu address.

Alumni will log in to Babson resources using their new @alum.babson.edu address.  Note: While alumni will retain Outlook accounts, they will no longer have access to M365 apps like OneDrive, SharePoint, Office 365, etc.

Alumni email accounts will be closed after 365 days of inactivity.  Email account activity is defined as either logging into the @alum.babson.edu account, or forwarding messages from it to another personal email account.
