Campus Food and Beverage Compliance

Babson College requires consistent compliance with food and beverage service as outlined by the Town of Wellesley Board of Health to ensure the health and safety at College-sponsored meetings and events. The information outlined on this page is designed to provide guidance for Babson College community members looking to sponsor a meeting or event with food or beverage service.

The primary preferred food and beverage service provider for the College is Babson Dining Services. If Babson Dining Services is unable to accommodate the desired menu for an event or is unavailable, you may consider outside food vendors or caterers depending on the nature of your event.

Outside caterers and food vendors are utilized by Babson College on a regular basis. As a business working with the College, we ask that you follow the guidance outlined below as we partner in providing a safe and healthy environment for our community at meetings and events.

Vetting Process

All caterers must be vetted and approved by the College in advance of doing business. Please email the Purchasing Office to inquire about the requirements of the vetting process.

Food Trucks

Any food truck desiring to do business at Babson College must be sponsored by a College department, complete the College Vendor Agreement, and provide adequate proof of insurance. Once confirmed for the event by the College you must contact the Town of Wellesley to submit paperwork and schedule an inspection by the Board of Health.
