Babson College defines a Closed Event as a gathering of Babson students, faculty, and/or staff that is not available to the general public. Event sponsors must manage attendance by ensuring that all attendees have a valid Babson One Card. Please note that Babson external partners, family members, or Wellesley residents are examples of those not permitted to attend a closed event.
Food/Beverage order paid for with Purchase Card < $500 – No restrictions
Food/Beverage order > $500 paid for with Purchase Card OR College Check – Must utilize one of the following:
Alcohol at no cost to attendees (events without a cost to attend)
Alcohol at cost to attendees OR at events with a cost to attend
- Pub – No restrictions
- Other location must email the Events Management Office at least 60 days prior to the event
In order to comply with the Town of Wellesley’s Board of Health, any student organization or College department wishing to bring a food truck to campus must make an appointment to meet with Events Management Office, Student Activities and Leadership, or Graduate Student Affairs at least 60 days prior to the proposed event.
