Operations & Information Management

The Operations and Information Management (OIM) faculty brings real-world experience and cutting-edge research to the business of teaching.

With strong ties to industry and academia, we continuously explore new methods, models, and ideas that predict and keep pace with ever-evolving technologies that accelerate the development, production, and distribution of information, products, and services.

All OIM faculty are actively engaged in research, providing opportunities for Babson students to learn about and participate in uncovering new knowledge in this dynamic area. Armed with this knowledge, our students are aggressively recruited by major corporations, consulting firms, and small business enterprises. Entrepreneurially minded, several start their own companies, either before or after graduation. As most of the OIM faculty have worked in industry—and many continue to remain active in industry through research and consulting activities—we are able to support and guide students and graduates in realizing their goals.
