The Cutler Center is pleased to partner with Toze Francisco of The Marquee Group to offer professional development training using Python. During this hands-on workshop, participants will gain the skills needed to develop Python programs to solve typical finance problems, cutting through the noise of generic 'Data Science' courses. Participants will be introduced to best-practices programming in Python to clean, analyze, and visualize financial data. This training is specifically designed for business and finance professionals and is regularly offered at many financial firms around the world.An overview of the workshop learning topics can be accessed here. Prerequisites:This is an introductory workshop. A general understanding of programming principles is recommended but not required. Students should have a good understanding of financial concepts.Space is limited. Registration requires a $20 refundable deposit that will be returned upon successful completion of the workshop. By registering for this workshop, students must be able to commit to the full program timeframe (9 am-5 pm). The Sorenson Arts Scholarship supports student artists while pursuing their Babson College education. Each scholar focuses on an annual project, starting with their primary medium, to explore their artistic identity and to feed their creative development. The Spotlight features our cohort of eight scholars presenting this year's projects, followed by a reception to meet these talented individuals. Join this celebration of their ongoing journey.
