63 entrepreneurs and educators will be at Babson from May 30 – June 3 to participate in the Price-Babson Symposium for Entrepreneurship Educators

As the recognized leader in entrepreneurship education, Babson College seeks to raise the quality, the content and the process of teaching entrepreneurship through our Symposia for Entrepreneurship Educators’ (SEE) programs. Our flagship program, Price-Babson SEE, is now offered twice a year on campus.

Cross-disciplinary educators and entrepreneurs from around the world are invited to attend Price-Babson SEE. The program is designed to build an international cadre of educators who understand the importance of combining entrepreneurship theory and practice in teaching.

This spring, participants come from 15 countries including South America, Europe, Asia, Africa, the Caribbean, and from across the U.S.

In an intensive four-day program, participants explore the entrepreneurship method, the “art and craft” of teaching and learning entrepreneurship. The program provides an introduction to Entrepreneurial Thought and Action,® and participants experience cutting-edge teaching methods for today’s environment. Attendees are encouraged to identify, plan, and personalize their own entry (or re-entry) strategy into academia, and to improve as teachers, learners, researchers, colleagues, and entrepreneurs. They identify and explore new content, programs, and materials, and are exposed to the realities of teaching in an uncertain entrepreneurial world. At the heart of the Price-Babson SEE Program is a belief that teaching effectiveness can be learned and must forever improve.

The program, limited to 60 participants, is designed for academics or entrepreneurs from any discipline who teach or have a desire to teach entrepreneurship. Participants are encouraged to register as a team of one academic and one entrepreneur or a team of two academics. Participants also may register individually. Babson encourages the academic-entrepreneur team because the intersection of theory and practice enhances the education experience of the students we teach.

While historically Price-Babson SEE has run once a year, in 2011 the program is running twice, with both offerings filled to capacity.
