    The Infinite Wrench

    Full Details

The New York Neo-Futurists are a diverse collective of writer-director-performers that create theater that is a fusion of storytelling, sport, poetry, and living-newspaper. Through this, they foster community embracing those unreached or unmoved by conventional theater and inspiring them to thought, feeling, and action. Every week the New York Neo-Futurists create a show in Manhattan called The Infinite Wrench: the award-winning, energetic, always changing attempt to perform thirty original plays in about an hour. The show is a collage of the comic and tragic, the political and personal, the visceral and experimental. Each play offers something different, be it funny, profound, elegant, disgusting, topical, irrelevant, terrifying, or a song; all are truthful and tackle the hear-and-now., inspired by the lived experiences of the performers. Every performance varies in content and order so no two shows are the same! Since opening in 2004, the NY Neos have premiered more than 5500 new plays. Collectively they have been nominated for three Drama Desk Awards and more than a dozen New York Innovative Theatre Award. Find out more >>
