You are invited to the Fast Track Showcase for developing businesses. Come meet the teams from the Butler Launch Pad Cohort program. You are invited to the Fast Track Showcase for developing businesses. Come meet the teams from the Butler Launch Pad Cohort program and hear them pitch! These teams have been working on their business ventures since September and will launch by June. Help them refine their go-to-market strategy! The Blank Center's Butler Launch Pad works to create opportunities to move student and alumni businesses forward. Within the Butler Launch Pad, the Fast Track Cohort program is a two term, fourteen week facilitated coaching program for a mix of 30 undergraduate, graduate, and alumni entrepreneurs. Participants meet weekly to get feedback, support each other, and work on their business playbooks. Find out more

Butler Institute - Empowering Entrepreneurship and Small Business Through Policy and Action Symposium Join the Butler Institute for Free Enterprise Through Entrepreneurship for our Spring Symposium on Tuesday, April 11, at 5:15 p.m. in Winn Auditorium. As one of the world's leading institutions focused on researching and teaching entrepreneurship, this Babson College symposium is designed to showcase how policymakers, the business community, and government can assist small business and entrepreneurs in their endeavors. Kicking off this event, Secretary of Labor & Workforce Development, Lauren Jones, will set the stage with an overview of the current blueprint for economic development. We'll dive deeper into the issues and opportunities with our panel of esteemed speakers, including Dan Rivera, President and CEO at MassDevelopment, Jane C. Edmonds, V.P. Programming and Community Outreach at Babson College, and Dani Babineau MBA'15, CEO, and Co-founder, Redemption Rock Brewing Co. moderated by our Butler Institute Student Scholars. Then Glynn Lloyd, Executive Director, Mill City Community Investments, will close out the event by sharing his journey and experience from both a business leader, banking, and investment perspective. There will be multiple opportunities for audience Q&A. The first 50 students to register will receive $20 in Babson Bucks! Note, students must attend the full event to receive the Babo Bucks.
