Join The Babson Collaborative for Entrepreneurship Education
The Collaborative Commitment
To ensure that all members are similarly committed and engaged, membership requires an application process. Applications are reviewed by the Babson Academy leadership team. All information submitted as part of the application process is treated confidentially.
Application Deadlines: April 1, July 1, November 1
If accepted, institutions are expected to maintain ongoing, meaningful, and active participation in the Collaborative, which includes sending at least one representative to the Collaborative annual global summit, held every March or April.
Membership Fee
The three-year membership is $15,000 per year billed annually in advance of the date on the agreement.
Application Process

Download the Application Worksheet (the worksheet has all the same questions as the online application). The worksheet includes:
General Application
- Description of your institution
- Current status of your entrepreneurship education offerings
- Goals for membership in The Babson Collaborative
- Institutional commitment to entrepreneurship education
Babson’s Entrepreneurship Education Ecosystem Self-Audit
The self-audit will help to better understand a prospective member's development needs. The audit also is used to ensure that membership is the right fit for both the institution and the overall Babson Collaborative community.

Obtain an institutional support letter signed by the President (or equivalent) at your institution demonstrating institutional commitment at the highest level (sample provided as part of the application worksheet).

Share your completed worksheet and the institutional support letter with your Babson Academy business development partner for review. They will help to strengthen your application before you formally submit it through the online application system.

Once your business development partner gives the okay, you will formally apply using the online Collaborative Membership Application form (transferring the answers from the worksheet into the form). As part of the application, you will upload the institutional support letter.
What Happens Next?
Once your online application is received, you can expect the following:
- The Babson Collaborative leadership team and a committee of senior entrepreneurship faculty and administrators at Babson will review all materials and conduct their own due diligence of the applying institution. The committee may require additional information.
- The applying institution will be notified of a decision via email and send you the three-year membership agreement. Once both parties have signed the agreement, the Babson Collaborative director will schedule an onboarding meeting to discuss in detail: the many benefits of membership; the platforms for member engagement and networking; and tips for maximizing the value of membership.
- When an institution becomes a member of the Babson Collaborative, they make an initial commitment for three years. After the initial three-year agreement, members have the option to renew membership in three-year or one-year increments.
