Student Finance Organizations

Student Finance Organizations provide Babson College students interested in Finance with the opportunity to expand and deepen their knowledge of the finance world. These organizations often host speaker visits, workshops, and conferences.

Undergraduate Student Organizations

Babson Blockchain Network (BBN)

The goal of the Babson Blockchain Network is to inform members of the Babson community about the advance in blockchain technology and cryptocurrency markets.

Babson Investment Club (BIC)

The Babson Investment Club is an organization devoted to teaching its members about different investment tools and finance career paths. It utilizes a competition system where rival "funds" run by Marketing Directors (MDs) attempt to get the best returns. In the BIC, members will gain experience in investing techniques, discover and be exposed to opportunities within the financial services industry, and receive mentorship and work alongside experienced student MDs.

Babson Investment Banking Association (BIBA)

The Babson Investment Banking Association’s mission is to enhance the position of Babson as a top business school for investment banking by increasing the interest of students in this field, supporting students in their preparation for the recruiting process, and improving relations with firms through the Babson Alumni Network. The association will utilize valuable resources such as alumni in the investment banking field and experienced MBA candidates, seniors and juniors.  The association also serves as a marketing vehicle for the Babson community, creating awareness of the different facets of investment banking through the Center for Career Development (CCD), the official BIBA website, education, communication, speakers and social networking events.

Babson Investment Management Association (BIMA)

The Babson Investment Management Association is a student-run organization dedicated to providing students interested in careers in investment management (research analyst, portfolio management, private wealth management, investment banking) with the resources and guidance to achieve their professional goals. BIMA provides students with the opportunities to hear from leaders in investment management, to learn about careers in the sector, and to develop their professional networks. The organization facilitates relationships with alumni and faculty, and fosters a sense of community among students.

Graduate Student Organizations

Babson Graduate Finance Club (BFGC)

The Babson Graduate Finance Club is the graduate organization devoted to promoting the field of finance at the graduate level. The club organizes regular panels and guest speakers to highlight different finance careers and to connect our students with Babson’s large alumni base in the financial industry. It also houses the Babson Venture Capital and Private Equity (VCPE) initiative (formerly VCPE Club). The goal of the club is to be the “hub” for all finance-related events on campus for Graduate students. Depending on the academic year, it might also run portfolio competitions and other simulation games.
