Babson undergraduate students, graduate students and alumni will compete for $75,000 in cash prizes plus “services in kind” donations from corporate sponsors in the 2021 B.E.T.A. (Babson Entrepreneurial Thought & Action®) Challenge.
Applicants will compete for prizes by demonstrating success in achieving major milestones through taking action.

February 19–March 5, 2021
Alumni evaluators review and score submitted materials online. Several groups of Babson College alumni evaluators will review each submission and assign a numeric score to each. The numeric scores from all evaluators will then be tabulated and the top applicants in the undergraduate, graduate, and alumni tracks will be selected based on the highest average score.
March 8-20, 2021
Faculty review of the top applicants in the undergraduate, graduate and alumni tracks will take place, and they will be narrowed down to the top six semifinalists.
March 24, 2021
Semifinalists will be notified.
March 28, 2021 at Noon ET
Semifinalists deadline – semifinalists will be required to submit a one page update document. Guidelines will be provided by The Arthur M. Blank Center for Entrepreneurship. All materials must be submitted to the Blank Center team at email@example.com by Noon EST (no exceptions made).
March 31, 2021, Time TBD
Semifinalists will participate in Q&A with a panel of faculty judges. This event will be closed to the public. Judges will determine the three finalists in the undergraduate, graduate, and alumni tracks who will present in the finale.
April 2, 2021
Finalists will be notified.
April 5-16, 2021
Finalists will work with the Blank Center for Entrepreneurship and Media and Production Services (MAPS) to record brief videos, presenting their ventures. These videos will be shared with the Babson community prior to the finale.

B.E.T.A. Challenge Finale – Finalists will pitch to a panel of judges and the judges will determine the winner of the competitions. This event will be online and open to the public.
