As we enter the final weeks of the fall semester, Babson will shift all classes (Undergraduate and Graduate) online as of Friday, November 13.

Experiential Learning for Graduate Students

At Babson, you’re going to learn a lot more than how to think. You’re going to learn how to do. Real-life practice—from consulting projects to classroom simulations—is how you become a leader who makes a major impact wherever you go.

Challenge Yourself and Grow with Real-World Experience

Combine electives to customize a graduate experience that helps you achieve your unique goals.

Got a business idea? Our community will help you bring it to life. From the now-global Women Innovating Now (WIN) Lab® to the B.E.T.A. Challenge, there are numerous ways to get your idea off the ground.

One of the most well-known? Rocket Pitch. The competition, celebrating its 21st year, let’s you pitch to the Babson community—in three minutes using only three slides.

Choose from multiple opportunities to consult with company leaders. A key component of every Babson MBA, the Babson Consulting Experience (BCE) lets you work with leading executives to solve an actual business need. MBA students also have an opportunity to consult through the Management Consulting Field Experience (MCFE), an elective course allowing you to work with organizations as diverse as Puma and the Red Sox to address a business challenge.

Several programs offer you the chance to take your electives abroad in short-term formats. Travel to Portugal to support a global client (Lisbon, Portugal), explore the competitive and strategic dimensions of companies doing business in the European Union (Milan, Italy), or compete in a one-week design challenge to tackle a relevant problem for the Swedish government and local businesses (Stockholm, Sweden).

Beating the S&P 500 consistently for 20 years, the Babson College Fund (BCF) lets you manage a $3 million portion of the College’s endowment. The program provides a rich educational experience through the development of investment research skills and the acquisition of portfolio management experience—highly valued by employers in the investments industry.

Alumnus Connection Helps WIN Lab Go Global

Babson’s WIN Lab went global for the first time in program history with the help of alumnus and leader of SMART Liberia, Marvin Tarawally ’17. As part of a new initiative, WIN Lab staff and alumni are participating in a collaboration that pairs train-the-trainer curriculum with hands-on coaching to support women fellows in SMART Liberia’s local startup accelerator.

Babson Entrepreneurs Win B.E.T.A. Challenge
