Intensive Electives are 1.5 credit elective courses and typically take place during a Friday evening and two full Saturdays with some pre-work and post-work.
They are typically offered during the winter break, spring break, and summer sessions.
Intensive Electives Policies and Procedures
Registration for Intensive Electives will take place through online course registration. Students will be notified of registration dates via their Babson e-mail accounts. There are no wait lists. Please Note: Fast Track students must complete the core of their program (BBIs and ABLs) before enrolling in an Intensive Elective. Fast Track students should contact their program manager.
Please see the course information for the specific add deadline. If online add/drop is closed, students can e-mail firstname.lastname@example.org to drop this course. Students can drop this course as long as an e-mail is sent to the above address before the end of the day (11:59 p.m.) of the first class meeting. Students must e-mail from their Babson e-mail account. No tuition refund will be given after the first class meeting.
Intensive Electives are 1.5 credits.
Students are responsible to check the meeting dates for all Intensive Electives. If a student is registered for Intensive Electives that have conflicting dates and times, the Registrar’s Office will drop one of the these courses.
Intensive Electives Limit
The maximum number of Intensive Electives a student may take while at Babson is four. It is the student’s responsibility to adhere to this policy. If the student exceeds this limit, we will drop that student from an Intensive Elective of our choosing.
Please e-mail email@example.com from your Babson e-mail account with any questions.
