Ryan M. Travia, Ed.D
Associate Vice President for Student Success
Ryan Travia is the Associate Vice President for Student Success. He leads Babson College's health and wellness departments and his expanded portfolio includes Accessibility Services and Student Advising & Success (undergraduate academic advising).
He holds a Bachelor's degree in Human Development and Elementary Education/Moderate Special Needs and a Master's in Education Administration both from Boston College, as well as a doctorate in Higher Education Management from the Univeristy of Pennsylvania.
Student Success Advisors

Student Success Advisor
Brian Duggan M’05 provides academic and personal support to students, including advisement on course selection and registration, academic planning, study abroad, and off-campus course work. He also coordinates the Weissman Scholars program.
He earned his Bachelor of Arts from the College of the Holy Cross, his Master’s Degree in Education from Boston College, and his Master of Business Administration from Babson College.

Assistant Director
Kristen Fischer provides academic and personal support to students, including advisement on course selection and registration, academic planning, study abroad, and off-campus course work. Additionally, she coordinates academic policy updates, certification of graduates, and serves on the CARE Team.
She earned her Bachelor of Arts from Hamilton College and her Master’s Degree in Higher Education and Student Affairs from The Ohio State University.

Student Success Advisor
Stephanie Kuchova provides academic and personal support to students, including advisement on course selection and registration, academic planning, study abroad, and off-campus course work.
She earned her Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Western New England University and her Master of Science Degree in Student Affairs and Higher Education from Miami University.

Student Success Advisor
Dan Kwash provides academic and personal support to students, including advisement on course selection and registration, academic planning, education abroad, and off-campus course work. Additionally, he is on the CARE Team, and Chairs the Fall and Senior Awards Ceremonies.
He earned his Bachelor of Arts from Bridgewater State University and his Master’s Degree in Counseling with a concentration in Higher Education, also from Bridgewater State University.

Student Success Advisor
Heather Miller provides academic and personal support to students, including advisement on course selection and registration, academic planning, study abroad, and off-campus course work. Additionally she manages the transfer credit process, including outreach to incoming transfer students.
She earned her Bachelor of Arts from Drew University, her Master of Education Degree in College Student Affairs Administration from the University of Georgia, and her Master’s in Public Administration from Bridgewater State University.

Student Success Advisor
Samantha Stanley provides academic and personal support to students, including advisement on course selection and registration, academic planning, study abroad, and off-campus course work. Additionally, she is the office's liaison with Exchange Students.
She earned her Bachelor of Arts from Saint Michael’s College and her Master’s Degree in International Education from the School of International Training Graduate Institute.

Student Success Advisor
Michelle Thomas provides academic and personal support to students, including advisement on course selection and registration, academic planning, study abroad, and off-campus course work. Additionally, she manages the January Admits and the First Generation Program.
She earned her Bachelor of Science from Lesley University and her Master of Urban Affairs from Boston University - Metropolitan.

Administrative Assistant
Colleen Biron is the administrative assistant in Student Advising & Success. She oversees the front desk and handles the overall office support functions and event planning as a part of her day-to-day duties.
She earned her Bachelor of Fine Arts from The Boston Conservatory.

She earned her Bachelor of Arts from Wheaton College.
