Full-Time MBA Merit Awards

Babson College is pleased to make available the following merit awards for candidates in the full-time MBA programs. No separate application is required; recipients are selected based on the strength of each candidate's admission application.  

Babson Alumni Scholarship

The Babson Alumni Scholarship is awarded to a Babson alumni candidate enrolled in the One Year MBA in the amount of $15,000.

Babson Fellowship

Babson MBA Fellowships are awarded to highly qualified, full-time MBA candidates. Each Fellow receives a full-tuition award.

Babson Diversity Leadership Fellowship

The Babson MBA Diversity Leadership Fellowship is full-tuition scholarship awarded to One Year and Two Year MBA candidates with the greatest potential for leadership in creating a richly diverse MBA community at Babson. No separate application is required; recipients are selected based on the strength of each candidate's admission application. Members of the following organizations are strongly encouraged to apply for admission to Babson: National Association of Black Accountants (NABA), Prospanica, Association of Latino Professionals for America (ALPFA)Management Leadership for Tomorrow (MLT), Latino Professional Network (LPN)National Association of Asian American ProfessionalsNational Black MBA Association, and Posse Foundation alumni.

Babson Diversity Leadership Scholarship

Diversity Leadership Scholars receive $20,000 per academic year for the Two Year program and $30,000 per academic year in the One Year MBA program in addition to partial conference funding and further community engagement opportunities.  

Babson Scholarship

Babson Scholars receive $5,000 per academic year for the Two Year MBA program and $7,500 for the One Year MBA program. Scholars are full-time MBA candidates and are expected to provide leadership in the classroom and Babson community.

Blank Center Innovators Award

Blank Center Scholars receive 80% tuition coverage for their Full Time MBA program in addition to exclusive opportunities in partnership with the Blank Center.  

Babson and City Year's University Partnership Program

Established to highlight the power of knowledge and service in addressing social problems, the F.W. Olin Graduate School of Business and City Year offer the University Partnership Program. The partnership will award at least 20% yearly tuition scholarships to select City Year corps members, alumni, and staff who enroll in one of Babson's top-ranked, full-time MBA programs. The scholarship will be awarded to a City Year corps member or alumnus who has successfully completed at least one year of service or to a City Year staff member employed for at least 2 years. Applicants will be considered for additional merit-based awards based on strength of their admission application.

Dean's Scholars

Dean’s Scholars receive $20,000 per academic year for the Two Year MBA program and $30,000 per academic year in the One Year MBA program. Scholars are expected to provide leadership in the classroom and Babson community.

Family Entrepreneurship Scholarship

Family Entrepreneurship Scholars receive $20,000 per academic year for the Two Year MBA program and $30,000 per academic year in the One Year MBA program in addition to exclusive opportunities in partnership with the Institute for Family Entrepreneurship.  

Graduate Assistants

Graduate Assistants work in a variety of academic and administrative departments across campus doing research, program development, and project coordination. Assistantships in the amount of $8,000 per academic year are awarded to selected full-time students based on merit. Recipients are expected to work a total of 80 hours per semester.

Hamilton MBA Scholars

Candidates for the Two Year MBA program are considered for the Hamilton scholarship based on their entrepreneurial accomplishments outlined throughout their application. Recipients receive $10,000 per academic year based on significant entrepreneurial experience.

Olin MBA Fellows

The prestigious Olin MBA Fellowship recognizes outstanding full-time MBA candidates. Each Fellow receives a full-tuition, books, and supplies award in anticipation of significant academic and professional contributions to the graduate school.

Olin Scholars

Olin Scholars receive $10,000 per academic year for the Two Year MBA program and $15,000 per academic year for the One Year MBA program. Scholars are expected to provide leadership in the classroom and Babson community.

President's MBA Scholars

President’s MBA Scholars receive $30,000 per academic year for the Two Year MBA program and $45,000 per academic year for the One Year MBA program. Scholars are full-time MBA candidates and are expected to provide leadership in the classroom and Babson community.

Price Babson MBA Fellows

The Price Babson MBA Fellowship, a full-tuition award, is awarded based on entrepreneurial experience, academic and personal accomplishments, and financial need. Candidates for the Two Year MBA program are invited to submit an essay highlighting their entrepreneurial accomplishments. Financial need will be determined using the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) available at www.fafsa.ed.gov (U.S. citizens and Permanent Residents only).

ROMBA Fellowship

Reaching Out LGBT MBA Fellows at Babson receive $10,000 per academic year for the Two Year MBA program. ROMBA Fellows become part of a national network, with access to Reaching Out, Inc. mentors and programs designed to develop LGBT and active ally business leaders.  

Social Innovation Scholarship

Social Innovation Scholars receive $20,000 per academic year for the Two Year MBA program and $30,000 per academic year in the One Year MBA program in addition to exclusive opportunities in partnership with the Lewis Institute.  

Women's Leadership Awards

Women’s Leadership Awards in the amount of $10,000 per academic year for the Two Year MBA program and $15,000 per academic year for the One Year MBA program are offered to selected full-time MBA candidates upon admission. Awards are made on the basis of demonstrated leadership in career and other life activities, and a vision of how the Babson MBA will enable the candidate to further develop her leadership potential.
