Empowering Faculty to Build the Future of Tech-Driven Learning

Babson College—through the C. Dean Metropoulos Institute for Technology and Entrepreneurship, the Center for Engaged Learning & Teaching, and the Office of the Dean of Faculty—is proud to launch the Tech Course Creation Accelerator, an intensive program supporting faculty in designing and delivering innovative, tech-focused courses for spring 2026.

Whether developing a brand-new course or integrating emerging technology into an existing one, this accelerator helps faculty push the boundaries of how entrepreneurship and technology intersect in the classroom.

What Is a “Tech Course”?

We define a tech course broadly, one that explores the development, use, and impact of technology in business and society, including (but not limited to):

  • Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning
  • FinTech, CleanTech, HealthTech
  • Cybersecurity or Data Privacy
  • Digital Platforms and Business Models
  • Ethical and Societal Implications of Technology
  • The Human–AI Relationship

Courses can be theoretical, applied, or a hybrid, and should be highly interactive. We encourage experimentation, interdisciplinary approaches, and bold ideas.

What to Expect in the Accelerator

Participants will engage in a highly collaborative, hands-on curriculum designed to support both creative exploration and actionable outcomes. The program includes:

  • Modules with Babson faculty and industry guest speakers
  • Peer collaboration and design thinking
  • Prototyping and curriculum showcase
  • Real-time student feedback
  • One-on-one mentoring sessions
  • Access to the Weissman Foundry innovation space
