Student Consulting Projects

Fresh insights, real solutions.

MCFE Presentation

Students work on business challenges through various courses at both the undergraduate and graduate level that can add up to 14 weeks of committed time and resources for your organization. Consulting projects receive support from an MBA project leader (undergraduate teams) or faculty member (graduate teams), but the students lead the solution development and final proposal action plan or investment recommendation. The students roll up their sleeves and acquire real-world experience, while you gain creative solutions to your organization’s challenges from entrepreneurial leaders.

While there are various time periods for different courses related to these projects, there are often many opportunities happening at once, so the best way to get started is to reach out to the contact in the respective undergraduate and graduate links below. They’ll help align you and your organization with the best fit.

PUMAFeatured Partner: PUMA

PUMA values the perspective and excitement Babson students bring to the table. Louis Joseph M’05, CEO of Alps & Meters and former global director of strategy and innovation at PUMA, has leveraged both the undergraduate and graduate student population through Management Consulting Field Experience (MCFE) projects, and said the following:

“[Graduate student] team recommendations were highly thoughtful and well-founded based upon both qualitative and quantitative research. The Louis Josephteam was credible, intelligent, and clearly understood the market in question as well as the PUMA brand.”

“The [undergraduate student] team addressing PUMA’s Brand Perception project delivered an excellent set of analyses in both quantitative and qualitative forms which produced a concrete and thoughtful recommendation for PUMA’s future brand positioning/marketing efforts. This particular group was professional and impressive!”
