The Retail Supply Chain Institute's mission is to be a conduit for research and education between students, retailers, and their suppliers of merchandise, services, and information.
Retail and Supply Chain Management is a multidisciplinary undergraduate concentration at Babson College. Its goals are to prepare students for careers in:
- Retailing and supply chain management
- Retail intelligence
- Management consulting to retailers and their suppliers, service industries, sales and product management for consumer products, and family-owned retail enterprises
Our faculty members are experts in their own area; they bring a rich confluence of information and practical experience that facilitates an integrated learning experience. The affiliated Faculty come from five divisions at Babson College:
- TOIM (Technology, Operations and Information Management)
- Math and Science
Firms can tap the expertise of faculty and experts in the industry to help solve real problems and conduct training seminars and executive education. Programs are custom designed to meet the needs of each firm.
In conjunction with the Center for Career Development, the Institute's director, affiliated faculty, and center staff act as a liaison and facilitator between students and corporate affiliates for internships, independent studies, and full-time positions.
