The meaning of the Babson Collaborative Student Network is to literally collaborate with people from the network to build a better world, even if that means coordinating a rescue mission to evacuate them from danger.

Entrepreneurial Development for Educational Faculty & Staff

“Entrepreneurial Mindshift for Educators was the perfect boost I needed to recharge my batteries. As an educator, I value the time I spend in the classroom but often worry my approaches or applications will feel stale. These sessions refreshed my perspectives.”

Santander Universities Supports Investor-Ready Pitches

Babson Academy partnered with Santander Universities to design and deliver a high-impact, two-part program for students called Prepare to Launch. Bringing together student teams with startups in the incubation stage, the program taught them to leverage digital to prepare their venture to go to market.

After a competitive three-week introductory pre-program, winning teams moved on to a four-week advanced training in entrepreneurship. Participants built a network of global entrepreneurs, received mentoring from Babson faculty, and completed the program with investor-ready team pitches.

Opportunities for Student Growth & Development

“As a girl, I was always convinced by society that I cannot start a business. … People think there aren’t lots of opportunities here, particularly for girls. Here comes the most impactful thing I learned from this program: creating opportunity. Now I believe, you do not always need to find or search for opportunities; sometimes you should create and design one. ”
