Admission Event Calendar

Our highest priority is the safety and wellbeing of our community and visitors. As a result, the Graduate Admissions team will not be holding any on-campus events or other programming during this time. We hope you’ll join us virtually in the meantime. We are continuously adding new options for you to connect with us on a remote basis. Check out our upcoming events below, connect with our admissions team, or take an online virtual tour of campus. We look forward to connecting with you!

Join us at the Graduate Virtual Open House on October 6 and 7.

Commodities Trading: Supply Chain Risk, Volatility and Hedging - 10/26

    Register Now

According to Investopedia, trading commodities is an ancient profession with a longer history than the trading of stocks and bonds. The rise of many empires can be directly linked to their ability to create complex trading systems and facilitate the exchange of commodities. Join the Stephen D. Cutler Center for Investments and Finance as we welcome Mark Williams MBA'04, President of Cape Horn Coffee, Inc. for a discussion surrounding what it's like to trade and finance commodities. Cape Horn Coffees is a global importer, trader, and merchant of green (unroasted coffee). Before joining Cape Horn in 2016, Mark was a Senior Vice President at Brown Brothers Harriman & Co, where he oversaw the firm's Food & Beverage and Boston Regional banking groups. Prior to relocating to Boston in 2014, Mark spent eight years in BBH's New York office where he led a team that financed and advised commodity trading companies. Registration is required. This info session is open to Babson undergraduate and graduate students. Light refreshments will be served. Find out more Green Chevron
