Engagement Opportunities

The KMH Center leverages Babson’s award-winning tradition of entrepreneurship and innovation to create health and economic value simultaneously.

There will always be a need for healthcare and challenges to achieve improved development and access to healthcare and life science solutions, but with every challenge is opportunity. With limited physical and human resources, we must try to do more with less—and that’s where innovation steps in. The need is great. The goal is daunting, but with your help we can be the catalyst for the changemakers.

Graduate and Undergraduate Programs

Join other like-minded alumni and use your Babson connections toward a common goal. This group plans networking and campus events.

These events can include opportunities for your company to host a group of students for a tour and career discussion, or you can participate in a Babson evening networking event.

This is a hybrid program that combines the elements of the traditional info session, a career conversation, and a 30-minute flash case. This culminates into casual networking at the end between students and company representatives.

Babson hosts several student Club-run industry conferences and case competitions throughout the year. Hundreds of professionals, students, community members, and faculty attend these conferences and competitions. Some of the larger events have included: B.E.T.A. Challenge, Global Entrepreneurship Forum, Latin American Business Forum & the Babson Energy Conference, to name a few. Companies can financially sponsor the forums, and contribute as keynote speakers and competition judges.

Share your experience by participating on a panel or be a keynote speaker at a campus event for KMH Center or Undergraduate or Graduate Career Center (Industry Spotlights Roundtable Discussions).

Hire a student temporarily into your company and guide and mentor them while they are there. This allows students to gain valuable experience and be a more attractive candidate when graduating or pursuing future positions.

Employers deliver a company overview to students on campus. If appropriate, specific openings for internships and/or full-time positions can be promoted. We can also coordinate a separate interview schedule for you should you wish to interview students on campus. Each Spring the Graduate Center for Career Development hosts a Career Fair for you to present your job and internship opportunities to our graduate students. You get to meet our students face-to-face with opportunities to interview afterwards.

The Office of Experiential learning (OEL) works with employers to have a small group of graduate students engage as consultants for your business to help you solve a pressing business issue at no cost to you. Project work is typically completed over the course of one semester. You will have an opportunity to see the kind of results Babson students can deliver throughout the consulting process and feedback from the companies has been overwhelmingly positive.

As a KMH Center Senior Fellow, you can mentor students who have an idea for a venture or who may be pursuing a business. Once a year, provide open office ideas for students to ask questions.

Employers host a group of students at your offices for an office tour and presentation from hiring managers and/or human resources. This is an opportunity for you to meet our students and for students to see your space, experience company culture firsthand and hear from multiple employees.
