Delivering the CWEL value proposition to graduate students.
CWEL promotes a “gender-enlightened” campus culture that supports a new generation of leaders who have a greater understanding of the importance of being able to work with and lead diverse teams. We do this by raising students' awareness about the role of gender as it relates to their current lives and their futures as entrepreneurial leaders while giving them greater access to a diverse group of role models, mentors, and coaches.
With the support of our valued partners across the Babson community, CWEL is able to offer a robust menu of , events, and resources that are open and available to our graduate students, regardless of their gender identity.
Graduate Mentor Program
CWEL recognizes that mentoring relationships are critical for career development and success in today's complex work environment. Each spring we pair graduate students of all genders with senior-level professionals for a 12-week, one-on-one mentoring experience, designed to educate our students on the value of developmental relationships and empower them to build a personal board of coaches, sponsors, and mentors.
CWEL Flash-Mentoring (Launching Fall 2021)
CWEL Flash Mentoring gives Babson students an opportunity to connect one-to-one with an experienced business professional for one-time, 45-minute mentoring sessions. Plan a campus visit or set aside some virtual office hours this fall to meet with students who wish to explore careers, solicit advice, or gather just-in-time feedback.
WIN Lab Intensity Track
Launched in 2017, this academic track offers current Babson MBA students the opportunity to gain course credit for the intensive women's accelerator experience offered by the WIN Lab. Throughout the program, women entrepreneurs will transform into CEOs through rigorous entrepreneurship coursework, applied experiences, mentoring, and milestone achievements designed to move early-stage ventures from prototype to successful launch and growth. The Disruption Dinner is a premier annual event hosted by the Center for Women's Entrepreneurial Leadership and campus partners at Babson College which brings the Babson community together for an evening of inspiration and conversation around gender and leadership. Each year the event showcases the experiences of accomplished women leaders in a common industry who are acting boldly to break barriers, blaze trails, and launch movements that change industries, organizations, and communities around the world.
CWEL Circles brings members of the Babson community together in a casual setting for candid conversations on gender and career-related topics. Personal in nature, these interactive group discussions will help attendees gain new perspectives, solicit advice, and position themselves for career success. Participants benefit from exposure to a diverse network of influencers and the opportunity to expand their circles of peer support.

The Babson Association for Women MBAs (BAWMBA) is a student-led organization providing opportunities to build networks, participate in mentorship programs, and attend events with the goal of encouraging the advancement of women in leadership roles.
