Started by Babson professors Joseph Weintraub and James Hunt, CLTP is designed to develop your self-knowledge and empower you to shape your personal development.
CLTP isn’t about grades—it’s about taking advantage of an invaluable opportunity to network with and gain real-world insight from your coach. Coaches are alumni, parents, graduate students, staff members, and other community members with experience in industries such as finance, marketing, entertainment, and retail. They are trained in the observation versus inference method of developmental coaching, and they are focused on helping you grow as a communicator and leader.
How CLTP works:
- You’ll take part in CLTP sessions twice at Babson: once as a first-year through your FME course, and again in your Strategic Problem Solving class, typically taken junior or senior year.
- Working in teams with other students, you’ll be observed by your coach as you analyze business cases and present your solutions.
- Following the group session, you meet one on one with your coach to get confidential feedback on your strengths and areas for development.
