Park Manor Central and South

Renovated to achieve LEED Silver standards for new construction and major renovation, first-year residence halls Park Manor Central and Park Manor South feature energy and water efficient equipment, as well as low-emitting building materials for indoor air quality. 


Major Sustainability Features:

  • By renovating the historic Park Manor buildings, Babson was able to reuse 86.3% of the existing structure. 
  • Surplus materials were donated to developing nations
  • Building materials were selected to improve indoor air quality 
  • Low-flow fixtures, such as faucets and shower heads, reduced water use by 45.1%
