The Richard W. Sorenson Center for the Arts

Facility Rental Information

The Richard W. Sorenson Center for the Arts is located on College Drive in the heart of the beautiful Babson College campus in Wellesley, MA.

The facility opened in October 1997 and was designed by the Boston-based firm of William Rawn Associates Architects, known for its design of the Seiji Ozawa Hall at Tanglewood. The 441-seat theater features wraparound balconies and side boxes that maximize seating while maintaining an intimate feel. It is fully equipped with modern lighting, sound and projection systems, a dance/rehearsal studio, music practice rooms, dressing rooms, green room, and a comfortable lobby. The two-story building is wheelchair accessible on both levels with an elevator in the lobby.

The Sorenson Center mainly serves BabsonARTS programs and college events but is available for rental. Due to the high student and college demand for use of the space, rental of the facilities is focused during breaks in the academic year, generally late-May through July and between semesters in December and early January.

If you are interested in hosting your event in the Sorenson Center please complete our rental inquiry form and review the Babson College policies provided below.
