There is a buzz of activity that goes on day and night at Babson, often driven by innovative events spurred by the undergraduate community. Student clubs and organizations, departments, centers and institutes at Babson host events for undergraduate students that enhance the time students spend outside the classroom
Babson traditions include Founder's Day, Back to Babson, Family and Friends Weekend, Late Night Breakfast, and many student organization events.

Miha built Celtra in 2006 with his wife and fellow Babson MBA alum, Maja Mikek MBA'07. Together, Celtra has raised over $25m in funding to built a suite of Marketing AI tools and has helped large clients like IBM, Hershey's and MetLife with their creative transformation for their digital ad content and creative. Nov022023The 13th annual Babson Trading Competition, sponsored by Fidelity Investments, welcomes students to compete against one another using the Rotman Interactive Trader software, which simulates an order-driven market. This competition is open to undergraduate and graduate students at Babson College, Olin College, and Wellesley College. Students will compete individually, with cash prizes awarded to the top five finishers. Registration is required. Prior to the competition, participants are encouraged to download and install the RIT Market Simulator Client and the Excel RTD (Real-Time Data) Links. Once the software is installed, participants can try the online demo case. Additional details can be found on this webpage from Professor Ryan Davies. The competition is based on the Liability Trading cases (LT3, LT4). In these cases, participants will be playing the role of a principal trader. Institutional orders will be randomly routed to a principal trading desk and then traders must decide whether or not to accept the tender. If the order is accepted, the trader then must develop an optimal strategy for unwinding the position over time, accounting for market conditions such liquidity, price volatility, and price impact.
