Program Cost Structure

Estimated budgets to guide your personal spending and overall cost of the program can be found on the program specific page. Use this estimated budget as a guide, but also utilize your knowledge of your spending habits to make appropriate adjustments to this number. The financial aid office will make awards (or adjustments) based on this budget.

To find the estimated total cost of any short-term education abroad program, visit the "Finances" tab on the course brochure page. This tab features a helpful graphic estimating the total course cost as well as detailed financial information.

• Tuition is paid directly to Student Financial Services.
• Undergraduate programs are 4 tuition credits.
• For Fall and Spring courses, Babson charges flat-rate tuition for credit loads up to and including 16 credits.
• For Winter and Summer courses, Babson charges a per-credit tuition rate (4 tuition credits). Information about the tuition policy and credit-load adjustments can be obtained through the Office of Academic Services.

• Program fees are paid directly to the Glavin Office. This is in addition to your tuition cost.
• Program fees are charged to cover the logistical costs shared by the group (i.e. group flight (if applicable), accommodations, ground transportation and internal travel guides, course-sponsored meals and cultural excursions, alumni events).
• Accepted students will be required to complete, sign, and submit a Program Fee Payment Agreement.

• International flights (for Electives Abroad) and domestic flights (for Electives Away) are often an additional cost. This allows you to choose a travel itinerary and budget that best suits your needs. If a group flight is included (for Undergraduate Fall and Spring courses only), this cost is built into the program fee AND will be clearly communicated on the course brochure page.
• Personal expenses also be factored into your budget calculations. These would include individual international travel, additional meals, visa fees, and incidental spending. Estimates of these costs are outlined on the course brochure page.

• Generally accommodation costs are based on double occupancy rooms.
  • Electives Abroad: There is an option to select a single room and pay an additional single supplement fee. The single supplement fee varies by course based on location and length of the course.
  • International Consulting Experience: Single rooms are not an option on this program. However, students may be placed in a single room in the event of an odd number of participants.
