International Education Week

International Education Week celebrates the benefits of international education and exchange worldwide. This initiative is co-sponsored by the U.S. Departments of State and Education.

This is a time at Babson to recognize our global community and opportunities to engage in international education across the experience of the College. Students, faculty, and staff alike have opportunities during the week to learn more about education abroad opportunities at Babson, engage in various cultural activities and social events, and reconnect with alumni who have seen the value of cross-cultural competencies in their careers.

What is it like being a person of faith as a working professional in America? How is it like leading an organization of people with religious beliefs different from your own? Where has faith shaped leaders even in ways one may not have considered? These are a few of the questions that we'll discuss during a conversation on identity and faith and its impact on leadership, enterprise, and entrepreneurship.

We'll chat about the growth of employee resource groups (ERGs) across companies, community at the local and organizational level, importance of faith in organizational growth and leadership, and leadership styles and agendas being shaped by a faith lens.

Learn about faith, its values, and its impact on personal and professional life and the business world.

This event is part of a wider speaker series that addresses how our identities, whether religion & faith, gender, or nationality & ethnicity, have a major impact on how we choose to show up in the world - and owning your identity in any capacity is crucial to not only being authentic to yourself but also having a truly fulfilling professional career.

In this speaker series, you'll hear from young and seasoned professionals and academics about how their diverse identities have shaped their career trajectory, why it's important to build supportive identity-focused communities, and why you too should own your identity.
