Babson Electives Abroad & Away
Electives Abroad & Away at Babson are short-term courses that combine classroom instruction on the Babson campus with company site visits, cultural excursions, and hands-on experiences domestically and abroad.
Led by Babson faculty, these courses also include in-country lectures given by partner school faculty and distinguished guest speakers. The academic content for these courses is diverse and specialized, ranging from exploring the origins of democracy, imperialism, and human rights in Greece and Italy to consulting with startups in Spain. These elective courses are offered to students during academic breaks in January, March, and May.
Why should you go on an Elective Abroad?
Hear from Celine Nie ('20) about why you should consider participating in a short-term education abroad or away program. During her time at Babson, Celine participated in three different Electives Abroad to Chile, Japan, and Israel.
