Meet the Peers On Wellness (POW) for 2024/2025.
Yusaris Arias
Hi my name is Yusaris Arias (She/Her) and I’m a Senior from New York City. I joined POW because I am passionate about wellness and wanted to help educate myself and my peers. I am on the CAB events committee and am excited to also help plan fun and informative POW events for the community. I love all things nature and being outside, animals, and fitness.
Alexy Berson
Hi, I’m Alexy Berson (he/him), and I’m a member of the Class of 2026. I joined POW because I loved the POW Presentations I had during my first-year orientation, and I wanted to be someone to give those presentations! In terms of what I do for wellness, I work out & play many sports recreationally (basketball, ultimate frisbee, flag football). I’m also the beatboxer of Babson’s a cappella group: the Rocket Pitches!
Ann Butler
Hi! My name is Ann Butler, and I am from Denver, Colorado. My pronouns are She/Hers I am the President of Babson Sustainability Club. I am the Vice President of Finance for the Babson Marketing Society. I am currently a member of Chi Omega. This involvement also includes the Chi Omega and Panhellenic Council’s Wellness chair. I can often be found at the ceramics studio either teaching classes or working on projects. I am an FME Mentor, and I am a member of Student Gov here on campus. I want to make Babson a happy community through my work on campus and I hope to inspire my peers to take action.
Palak Gandhi
Hey! I'm Palak, a junior from Bangalore, India. I use she/her pronouns. I joined Peers on Wellness (POW) to become a supportive resource for my peers and an engaged member of the community. Sarah Harper
Hi! My name is Sarah Harper. I am a junior and I use she/her/hers pronouns. My home is in Norfolk, MA. I am on the Babson Women’s Club Soccer Team because I love being active. I joined POW not only to meet a fun, close-knit group of people but also to learn more about health and wellness outside of just fitness. I wanted to give back to the community in a way, and I think this organization is an incredible opportunity to do so!
Grace Klingaman
Hi, I am Grace! I use she/her pronouns and I am a junior from Attleboro, Massachusetts. On campus, I am also a member of the Chi Omega sorority and am passionate about running, fitness and love to read and be outside. I joined POW to educate myself more on all types of Wellness and to be a tool for peers who might need support. I am excited to assist with all the wonderful events wellness and prevention runs for the student body and to learn from the experiences and knowledge of the other POWs.
Aryan Nagpal
My name is Aryan Nagpal (He/Him) and I am a senior from New Delhi, India. I transferred to Babson from Notre Dame College in the spring of 2023. I am one of the biggest foodies you will ever meet. I love all kinds of desserts. On campus, you will often find me in the gym or at Cutler Center. I am also a part of the finance association at Babson.
Jolie Rojik
Hi!!!! My name is Jolie Rojik, I am a senior at Babson and I am a POW and I am also a member of Babson Pride. I joined POW because I wanted to be better resource for my peers regarding sexual health, sexual assault prevention, alcohol and other drugs, and mental well-being. I want to make myself available to all members of my community at Babson for any concern about wellness.
Gracie Sainvil
HI! I’m Gracie Sainvil and I use she/her/they/them pronouns. I am currently a junior. I call New York City home. I decided to become a POW because I wanted to be a more active member of the Babson community. I also wanted to meet more people that share the same values as me when it comes to mental and physical well-being. In my free time, I like to design nail art and skin care.
Isabella Sam
My name is Isabella Sam (she/her/hers). I am part of the class of 2025. I joined POW because I wanted to have a positive impact on our campus community and form friendships with people who value mental health as much as I do. For wellness, I like to listen to music, meditate, and do some light pilates (emphasis on light… pilates is not for the weak).
Swanica Shah
Hey!! I’m Swanica, I use she/her pronouns and I am a junior from Bombay, India. The idea of community-driven wellbeing captivated me. That's why I joined a Peers On Wellness, to connect with like-minded individuals on a shared journey.
Deborah Umwiza
Hi! My name is Deborah, I am a senior and third year POW and I use she/her pronouns. I am from an area in New Hampshire known as the Lakes Region, so I love anything that involves being on or in the water. Always down for a beach day! I joined POW because mental health is a big priority in my own life, and I wanted to have a part in positively impacting other students’ wellness on campus.
Kamakshi Agarwal
Hi my name is Kamakshi Agarwal! My pronouns are she/her, I’m a sophomore at Babson College. I joined POW mainly because I’m keen on promoting mental health and wellness. As they say ‘Sound mind in a sound body’. One tip that I could give you is to journal! Writing about stuff that you cannot talk about to anyone definitely lifts the weight off your shoulders.
Emily Almazan
Hi! My name is Emily Almazan, class of 2025, concentrating in Strategy & Consulting. At Babson I am involved in POW, and Kappa Kappa Gamma. One reason why I joined POW is because wellness and wellbeing has always been a core value of mine; I knew this student leadership group will help me enhance that and reach the Babson community. Some of my favorite wellness hobbies include hot yoga, meditation, and reading.
Brady Anderson
Hi my name is Brady Anderson and I am in my final year here at Babson. I have enjoyed being a POW for the past three years along with being on the Men’s Tennis Team. I enjoy nature and hanging out my friends and will never deny a good bagel. If you see me on campus please say hi I would love to meet you!
Liam Bennicoff
My name is Liam Bennicoff, I'm a Babson sophmore, first year POW. I love cars, history, and am fascinated by any kind of engineering. I joined POW to spread kindness, understanding, and teach students how to live safely.
Kathryn Craig
Hi I am Kathryn Craig and I use she/they pronouns. I am in the class of 2026 and I joined POW because I wanted to find a group of like minded friends. I like to read and journal for a wellness activity.
Alex Friedman
Hi! My name is Alex Friedman (He/Him), I’m currently a junior and a first year POW. I’m from Newton Massachusetts which is right next to Babson. I’m also a member of the Club Baseball team here on campus. I joined POW to be more involved on campus and help teach my peers about mental and physical well-being. In my free time you will probably see me at the gym, watching sports, playing sports, or hanging out with friends.
Calvin Healey
My name is Calvin (he/him), and I am a senior in POW. I joined POW because I want to take a part in promoting overall mental health and wellness for all students on campus. My favorite way to take a break or to calm my mind down is by playing basketball or going on a walk with some friends.
Naisha Joshi
Hi! I’m Naisha, class of 2027, and I use she/her pronouns. I am a POW because this role allows me to be a valuable resource to the student body. I know how intimidating the first year of college can feel, especially as an international student. As a POW, I hope I can help all students feel welcome, appreciated and heard.
Kirsten Lytle
Hi! My name is Kirsten Lytle, I use the she/hers pronouns. I am from New Jersey and am currently a sophomore at Babson! I joined POW to meet people and to spread a lot of my wellness values to others in our community. One of my favorite wellness activities is hot yoga!
Abril Manrique-Palacios
Hi I am Abril! I joined POW my sophomore year because I felt that there was a gap in wellness education for college students. For my own wellbeing I like to set time aside every night to read or attend a hot pilates class. On campus I am also involved with Sigma Kappa sorority as well as a student worker for the WPS office.
Lillian Marini
Hi my name is Lillian Marini, I am a sophomore from Shelton, Connecticut! I joined POW because I wanted to give back to the community in a unique way, and our four pillars are all topics I care about deeply. I employ wellness in my own life through attending workout classes, practicing self care, and prioritizing my passions!
Sienna Totah
Hello! My name is Sienna Totah, and my pronouns are she/her. I'm originally from San Diego, California, but I've also spent many years in Dallas, Texas! I’m currently a sophomore at Babson College and member of the Chi Omega sorority. I joined POW to improve the well-being of my peers and to ensure everyone knows about all the amazing support available on campus. I’m passionate about philanthropy, marketing, working out, and trying new foods. One of my favorite wellness activities is doing Pilates at Btone in Wellesley!
Waverly Winterer
Hi I am Waverly! I use she/her pronouns, I am a senior, and I am from Montana. I joined POW to educate myself more around wellness and become an advocate within my community. I practice wellness through working out, reading, and exploring new places.
Zara Pulipati
Hi! My name is Zara, I use she/her pronouns and I am a senior here at Babson. I am concentrating in finance and am a second year POW. I am also a member of KKG, PGN, I am a College Advancement Ambassador, and an Admissions Fellow. As the daughter of two physicians, I have always been passionate about health and wellness, and I am excited to promote these on campus!
