Student and Alumni Use
All official Babson College student and alumni organizations, clubs, initiatives, or events are encouraged to use Babson College logos, fonts, and colors.
Students and alumni must follow brand guidelines when using Babson College logos, and use must be approved as outlined here.
Clubs, Organizations, and Alumni Affinity Groups
Official College clubs, organizations, and affinity groups have the option to use official Babson marks in accordance with the guidelines or to create original and unique marks that represent their organizations. When creating original art or logos, groups must include the words Babson College in the mark in brand fonts. (Marks created prior to January 2021 are not subject to this requirement.) We encourage students to align their group’s mark to the College brand, leveraging Babson College colors, fonts, and styles … but we also want to encourage creativity. Original marks should still meet community standards, not violate copyright or trademarks, and be reviewed with College Marketing for compliance.
Social Media Profile Picture
Official student clubs and organizations are required to use the Babson College social media profile picture on social channels. Babson student clubs and organizations may not feature original art in the profile picture for their channels.
FME Business Use
FME student businesses are permitted to use the Babson Logos without royalty. Businesses must follow the brand guidelines and show proofs (screenshot or photo are OK) of any usage to Anne Dauchy, Senior Visual Designer, for approvals.SUBMIT FME LOGO REQUEST
Current Student Personal or Business Use
Currently enrolled Babson College students are permitted to use the Babson Logos (with the exception of the Athletics Logos and Babson Seal) without royalty for personal, academic, and revenue-generating efforts. Students must follow the brand guidelines and show proofs (screenshot or photo are OK) of any usage to Cheryl Robock, Director of Creative Services, for approvals. Students seeking to continue to use the logos for revenue-generating efforts post-graduation would be subject to the licensing process.
Babson College Alumni may use the Babson Logos without royalty for personal or non-revenue-generating efforts. Alumni must follow the brand guidelines and show proofs (screenshot or photo are OK) of any usage to Cheryl Robock, Director of Creative Services, for explicit permission and approvals. Alumni seeking to use the logo for a revenue-generating effort would be subject to the licensing process.
