“I just finished reading through the report and I am upset with myself. It is 10pm and now I am excited with a head full of ideas! This is obviously not the optimal state to be in before going to bed, however, it is a sign that I am very excited with what you produced.
I found myself nodding along as I read and at various points emphatically nodding along. There were a couple of points that made me cringe, not for anything you got wrong, but because you were spot on and brought to light doubts/concerns I have had about things I was or wasn't doing. Nevertheless, getting past those cringe moments were always worth it to see what was on the other side. On the other side was always something that made me feel that I have a path forward. I can now see why those parts made me cringe, because, in the past, I wasn't sure how to overcome them, but now I feel empowered with a plan for how to do so.
