Short-Term Programs are Babson sponsored courses led by Babson faculty. Prior to selecting a Short-Term Program, students should meet with a Short-Term Program Manager in the Glavin Office of International Education to determine which program is the best fit for their individual needs. In addition to assisting with program selection, the program manager can speak directly with the course's faculty, course administrator, third-party provider, and/or in-country partners to help arrange for certain accommodations, and can help ensure that students will have access to resources that will make their Short-Term Program experience a successful one.
To request Short-Term Program accommodations students complete and submit the Application Form located on the Accessibility Services Hub site. Be sure to include the following information in your application:
- Name and dates of Short-Term Program
- First and Last Name of Program Manager
- Email of Program Manager
The Department of Accessibility Services will send a letter to the Short-Term Program Manager and to the faculty leading the short-term program verifying approved accommodations. Please contact Accessibility Services with any questions.
Mobility, Mental Health, and Wellness
Travel logistics and the transition-rich nature of short-term programs require your special attention to how the course itinerary may affect your daily routine. Your Program Manager can work with you to review the daily pace, terrain, and expectations for engagement. The course faculty is also available to navigate assignments and requirements to complete the course.
When you commit to a course, it is with the understanding that you have considered these aspects of the course and developed a plan for success, including conversations with your healthcare provider and academic support.
